Darshan Tokens And Darshan Lines
In order for everyone to receive darshan (personal blessing) from Amma, a token system has been developed. Numbered tokens are given out on a first-come first-served basis. Numbers will be posted to indicate the range being admitted to the darshan line. You can enter the line any time after your number is included in the posted range.
** Please note: We request everyone who wishes to have Devi Bhava darshan, to get their tokens either before the Atma Puja begins, or during the early part of the evening. Amma has programs scheduled to begin in the next city, thus there is the necessity for her to travel on the day following Devi Bhava. Amma does not wish to discourage her children or limit the darshans, it is simply because of the need for Amma to leave by a certain hour the following day that we must ask everyone to get their tokens early.
Because so many people come, depending on your token number, you may have to wait a while before your number falls within the posted range. During this time, you may sit close to Amma or avail yourself of the various activities in the hall.
Once you enter the darshan line, it will take some time to reach Amma. If you have any questions, concerns, or special circumstances that prevent you from waiting for your token number to come up, or if you are unable to sit for 30 minutes in the darshan line, ask one of the darshan line monitors to assist you.
Priority will be given to families with children under the age of four, elderly people and individuals with limiting physical conditions. If you are in this category, contact one of the Priority seating monitors in the main hall.
